DSA, Don Schumacher & Associates, Inc., is a Cincinnati-based sports marketing, management and consulting company specializing in feasibility studies, motor sports, facility audits, strategic planning and training, event marketing, event management, and the creation and presentation of high school sports events and promotions, DSA Prep Sports.
OUR HISTORY
DSA
was incorporated in 1992 and prides itself
on providing clients with study findings grounded in fact rather than based
upon national trends and averages. A DSA study, be it facility audit, market
support, strategic planning or sports commission training is based upon
a balanced perspective... we understand what happens after the doors open.

OUR PLAYERS
Don Schumacher, President,
has more than thirty five years experience in the field of communications,
family entertainment, theme park marketing and operations, arena and stadium
marketing and operations, event management, sports marketing and facilities
consultation. In addition to his role as President of DSA, he is also the
executive director of the National Association of Sports Commissions (NASC), an organization he helped found in 1992 and which now has more than 300 members nationwide. Schumacher's experience includes the following:

- Greater Cincinnati Sports & Events Commission (Executive Director)
- National Association of Sports Commissions (Executive Director)
- Association of Sport Cities and Venues (Inaugural Member)
Tom Gamble is the Director of
DSA Prep Sports and
brings a wealth of knowledge from his years in the sports industry. During
his professional career, Tom has gained experience in athletic administration,
fund raising, marketing, promotion, public relations and journalism. Gamble
has been instrumental in the development and success of the DSA Prep Sports
division. He is responsible for the creation, sale and execution of its
entire event lineup. In addition to his duties at DSA Prep Sports, Tom
is also an active member of the Cincinnati media as co-host of the 2 Angry
Guys, morning drive talk show on WCKY-AM (1360 Homer), the area's top rated
all-sports radio station. Gamble is also co-host of Sunday Morning Sports
Talk on 7--WLW, a 50,000-watt station. Tom also serves as the Director
of Sports Business at Northern Kentucky University, a new undergraduate
degree serving the needs of the sports business industry.
Lori Gamble serves as the General
Manager of DSA and DSA Prep Sports. She has been with DSA since its formation
and oversees in-house management of most DSA projects. She coordinates
all consulting projects and supervises the production of our finished work
product. Gamble is also the Assistant Executive Director of the NASC, and
is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the association.
Jay Myers is the Operations
Director of DSA Prep Sports.
Jay oversees the operation of all DSA Prep Sports events including
school relations, facility issues, event administration, etc.
Beth Hecquet is the Director
of Membership Services for the National Association of Sports Commissions,
a 300+ member organization managed by Don Schumacher & Associates. Beth
handles the day-to-day operations of the NASC and is the direct contact between
the members and the staff.
OUR HOME FIELD
The DSA team is located in Sycamore Office Park in the Cincinnati suburb of Blue Ash. We are close to I-71 and about ten miles north of downtown.
